I was inspired this morning while walking alone on the busy street, just to post another stack of resumes. The morning sun was getting hot. I looked around and felt something. Something like my inner self is speaking. Thanks to Mel for some of your insights.
I don’t belong here
I don’t reside here
I’m here temporary
Till the day I found my nest
The morning rays pierce into my eyes
As I gaze into the sky
Tall majestic buildings
Reflecting the beams of morning light
Feeling small & lost
In the heart of the busy city
Glass and concrete giants
Scraping in the sky
Towering all around me
Stunned as I continue to watch
How people around me move
My pace had slowed down
I’m directionless
I’m in search
Wondering where I belong
Wondering how could it be like
In my new found nesting place
