Happy Mother's Day

A bunch of flowers I bought you, dear Mum

With a mixture of multiple colours

Red, white, yellow, light pink and maroon

Added to it a stalk of red carnation with a ribbon tied to its stem

It’s just me & daddy on the memorial hill

A challenging path to reach your resting place

Weeds has grown, years has passed

But the memories of you still remained

Deep down in my heart I whispered a prayer

And thank the Lord how much you have showered your love on me

It is through your love and God’s blessing

This is who I am this day
