Let bygones be bygones

I was back in hometown last weekend and had a family breakfast at a dim sum shop at Jln Ong Kim Wee. It was a dim sum shop that I love to go because of it’s herbal chicken feet. I was delighted and straight ordered 2 bowls of chicken feet. As I ate, old fond memories flooded my thoughts. It suppose to be a memorable piece of memories but it saddened me when I recalled back.

It was a feasting cum gathering with 3 close friends. All of us were food lovers. I remembered that we purposely woke up at about 6am and headed to our feasting of dim sum at the same place where I had mine yesterday with family. I can’t remember how many bowls of chicken feet we ordered. We had at least 2 bowls per person.

How time flies. It was about 3 years back I guess. Today, each of us has taken our own path. One has gone oversea, two are still in hometown and me has ventured to KL. Our relationships now are stagnant. I want to make it alive again but I can’t do that alone. I need their feedbacks.
Probably, this is part of life that I must learn to accept - the changes that had taken place. That each of us has a meaning and purpose in life to achieve and this friendship was once a main thing, but not for now. I’m still struggling to let go.

To my friends whom I keep them close in my heart - Shih Min, Wei Peng & Karen. I wish you all the best in life. Thanks for the memories we once shared. You brought back many smiles and laughters.
